When should you visit Vancouver?

June to August is peak season — warmest, driest weather and the best odds for orca and humpback sightings, but also the highest hotel prices and busiest trails. September and October are the sweet spot for many travelers: humpbacks are still active, crowds thin out and prices drop, though rain becomes more likely. Whistler’s ski season generally runs November to May, peaking over the winter holidays and February–March. Cherry blossoms bloom for a short window around April 5–15 — check the VCBFest bloom map closer to the date.
